Super Smash Bros. Brawl-DELAYED!!!

Hello! I am very sorry to tell everyone that-ahem- SUPER SMASH BROTHERS BRAWL HAS BEEN DELAYED-AGAIN!!!!!!!!!! it's old release date was Dec. 3. Now it's Feb. 10!

Maybe there will be riots in the streets...

I think this was a very unwise move by Hal Laboratory because...

1) It infuriates their Smash Bros. fans

and...

2) They won't anymore have, like, over 2 milion parents rushing to get it as a Christmas present for their children.

I just hope the long wait is worth it...

EDIT: Yeah568 here, and I think that the delay is sort of a good move. This way, when it's Feb. 10, then everybody is all excited and even MORE people know and want the game, so that also could be their marketing strategy.
Or they could just be slow at making a new Super Smash Bros. Game....

Snake - Brawl Appearance

You've been waiting for a long time, but it's finally confirmed - Snake will be in Super Smash Bros. Brawl! This Powerful Mercenary is said to use a variety of different weapons in combat, like these: (can also be seen in photos on http://www.smashbros.com/. )

-Rocket Launcher

-Giant Box

-Anti-Air Missile

-Explosive mine thingy

-Guided Missile (You control the missile yourself )

-Hand Grenade

-Flying reconassiance camera

It amazes me how one man can carry 7 different weapons, each one having probably unlimited uses. Doesn't it amaze you?

Metroid Prime 3- Full review

Yay! Lol! I just finished Metroid Prime 3 today. Sorry I haven't posted for a while, but now I'm posting a review for Metroid Prime 3.

STORY:The Story goes something like this: Aurora unit, the galactic federation's network of organic supercomputers, is malfuncioning. Why? Because space pirates, Led by Dark Samus, have sent leviathans to impact each planet that has an Aurora computer on it. Once these leviathans Impact the planet, they start pumping viruses into the aurora unit's system, corrupting the computer with phazon. Your Mission, as Samus Aran, is to destroy the Leviathans. These leviathans are made from Phazon. They are protected by a phazon corrupted creature. (See:"HYPERMODE" ) and every time you destroy one, you get a new Hypermode ability! (also see: "HYPERMODE") Story:7/10

GAMEPLAY: the gameplay is similar to that of a normal Metroid Prime game, other than the "point and aim" aspect. During the game you will collect several suit upgrades, that can let you do a variety of different things. gameplay:9/10

HYPERMODE: during the game, Samus will be corrupted by phazon.(courtesy of Dark Samus.) However, after being corrupted, you will soon receive a Phazon Enhancement Device, which will let you use the phazon inside your body. So, by pressing the Wii-mote's + button, you can go into Hypermode. In Hypermode your attacks are based on pure phazon, like a more-powerful than a normal missile missile called a hyper-missile, that's charged by phazon. also, your beam is stronger in hypermode. Also, during the game, you may meet some phazon corrupted creatures that can also go into Hypermode. Just a warning. Oh, but if you stay in hypermode to long There WILL be consequences! New Hypermode ability:7.5/10

anyway, that's my review for the game!

Metroid Prime 3

YES! Yesterday I got Metroid Prime 3!!! :> It is sooo fun! I haven't gotten very many major upgrades, though, but i have gotten a few of them - I've also gotten a few new upgrades that have NEVER before been featured in a Maetroid game. These Items include the Command Visor and the Grapple Lasso.

Side-note: For those of you who think that Metroid is all "Boom-Boom" with no story, it's not. In Metroid Fusion there is talking, also what they are saying is just seen in scrolling text. The story is also clear in that game. In Metroid Prime 2 there is also scrolling text with a simple story, and in Metroid Prime 3 there is even Voice acting!!

Anyway, I'm not very far in Metroid Prime 3, But when I've had some more experience, or when i beat the game, I'll be sure to write a review about it. :) That's all for now.

Wii-mote Accidents

Ever hear that Wii-motes get flung out of hands and smash TVs? Well, guess they were trying to smash their TVs!! On the pictures, it is very clear that the WRIST STRAPS WERE NOT ATTACHED!!!!!! It is stated when the Wii is turned on AND when most games start AND on the Nintendo website AND in the instuction manual to WEAR THE WRIST STRAP!!!!!!!!!!!! So I guess that they all Wii-mote accidents are fake. Probably all Sony/Microsoft workers trying to ruin Nintendo or Nintendo haters. So now you know.

My Super Paper Mario Review

This Is My review of the Wii game, Super Paper Mario. 10/10, DEFINATELY!!

STORY:Well, first of all, the game is VERY funny. A first sign of that is the fact that the main bad guy is a man named Count Bleck. Anyway, the story is like this: Princess Peach has mysteriously dissapeared, so, the (Paper) Mario Bros. immediately suspect Bowser. The Mario Bros. head off to Bowser's castle, where they find out that Bowser HASN'T kidnapped Peach, but was only just about to start his attack. Then, Count Bleck attacks the castle, and kidnapps everyone - except for Mario.

Mario is greeted by a butterfly Pixl ( a pixelated Thing) named Tippi, who takes Mario to the mysterious town of flipside, a world between dimensions. Mario then meets Merlon, who tells Mario about the light and dark prophecies, and about Count Blecks plot to destroy all worlds - but Merlon also tells Mario how to stop that from happening. To do that, Mario must collect all 8 Pure Hearts, place them in their heart pillars in Flipside, then the way to Bleck Castle will open...

During the game, you'll also meet many other pixls, who each have a unique ability that will aid you on your adventure.

GAMEPLAY: This game is an RPG. although it is a mostly side-scrolling game, you'll get points for each enemy you defeat. When you reach a certain amount of points, you'll level up. Early on in the game Mario will get the ability to flip between 2D and 3D. 3D can be used to sneak past enemies and to find hidden paths and more, but you can only be in 3D for 10 seconds. During your journey, 3 other characters will join you. Here is a list of the charaters and their abilities:

Mario: 3D Flip ability

Princess Peach: Umbrella Float

Bowser: Fire Breath

Luigi: Spring Jump ( Super High Jump.)

GRAPHICS

They REALLY did a good job of the graphics of this game. Everything really is paper. There are 8 worlds; these are how just some of them are:

Chapter 1: Lines, Lines, Lines! Everythings a line!

Chapter 4: everything is pixelated-like and made from confetti-like squares of paper.

Bleck Castle: Everything is just black or white, with some exceptions.

Yup, this post is why I LOVED this game.

My Personal Cooking Mama Cookoff Review

Hello there! I'm here to talk about my experience with the Wii game called Cooking Mama Cookoff.

STORY: For those of you who think there is a story, well, there is none. Basically you are a chef in the kitchen that will cook to try and impress "The Cooking Mama."after every step of a meal, you'll be awarded points based on how well you did, and Mama will give a comment in her thick German accent about how well you did. She'll either say: I will help you :( (Bad) or Good, keep going! (Average) or Wonderful!! Better than Mama!!!!! (Good) Or, in her jealousy, she'll spaz at you and Shout GREAT!!!!!

GAMEPLAY: The cooking motions all mostly use the wii-mote, but some of them also include buttons. The challenges range all the way from cracking an egg to chopping squids. in 1-p mode, every time you finish a meal that you haven't done before, you'll add a new recipe to your cookbook. There are French, Japanese, Italian, Chinese, American and Spanish recipies, and those are just the ones that I've unlocked!! There is also something called "Challenge Mode" where you don't get a score after every step of the meal; Just your finishing score. also, you won't get instructions for each step of the meal.

GRAPHICS: the graphics are fairly simple, but still nice. The thing I like most about the graphics, though, is that everything is moving. Mama is swinging her head back and forth, the forks and knives are dancing around, and even the text is pulsating.

2-P MODE: Two player mode is nice. the contestants choose on a recipe and and have a competition cooking it. Points are awarded just like they are in 1-p mode. When the meal is completed, whoever has more points is the winner. There's also a "friends and food of the world" mode where the human plays against a CPU.

MY CRITICISMS: My main criticism is that the challenges are too repetitive. There are about 20 different steps that are used for 50 recipies. Other than that, It's quite a good game.

This game would be better suited for a price of probably 40$, not 60$.

Goodbye. :)

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess (Wii Version)

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess is an action-adventure gamee developed by Nintendo Entertainment analysis and developement and published by Nintendo for the Wii and Nintendo GameCube.

The game's story focuses on Link as he tries to rid the world of the Twilight Realm as both a human and a wolf with the help of a mysterious creature named Midna.

Just to let you know, I know almost nothing about the Legend Of Zelda series and I'm getting most of this info from the Wikipedia page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Legend_of_Zelda:_Twilight_Princess

Anyway, Link transforms into a wolf when entering the Twilight Realm, a void that has ensnared Hyrule. This is not a wholly separate place like the Dark World in A Link to the Past, but a darkened Hyrule. (I'm starting to think that with all this " Light world, Dark world" stuff, that the game is copying Metroid Prime 2's story. Read about Metroid Prime 2 on the Wikipedia page:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Metroid_Prime_2.)

The Wii version uses the Wii Remote and Nunchuk's motion sensors and pointers in conjunction with buttons to operate the game. The built-in speaker on the remote is used for sounds like the bowstring of the Hero's Bow being drawn and released, Midna's laugh when using wolf Link to jump from platforms with Midna, and the “Zelda chime” when discovering secrets, though this can be optionally be turned off by turning the Wii remote's volume down to zero, in which case sounds will come through the television like other sounds.

In Twilight Princess, Link shares similar moves between human and wolf. For example, when an enemy is on the ground, Link has the option to finish them off by plunging his sword into their chest; in wolf form, he can do this to poes ( Ghostly Enemies) to rip out their souls.

Link can communicate with animals in wolf form as if they were people. When transformed into a wolf, Link’s sense of smell is greatly improved allowing him to follow trails left by certain characters in the game. With these abilities come some disadvantages. While he is a wolf, Link cannot utilize any of his items, open any doors with handles or climb ladders until he transforms back into a human.

During the game Link gains a number of new sword techniques (called "Hidden Skills") at various points. These techniques are learned by first finding "howling stones" in different areas of Hyrule while in wolf form and howling a song (different for each stone). A golden wolf appears and tells Link to find him in certain places marked on the game map. Once at this marked point and in human form outside the Twilight Realm, the wolf can again be seen and Link is warped to a supernatural area which appears to be on top of clouds. Various Hylian landmarks can be seen jutting up from under the clouds. Here, the wolf transforms into a skeletal ghost form clad in Roman-like armor. The spirit teaches Link up to seven new techniques by allowing Link to try them out on him. After the final technique is learned, the skeletal being makes a claim to being a previous hero who could not pass on these techniques to anyone. The first technique taught by the skeletal warrior must be learned, as the game cannot be completed without it; the other six are optional.

In wolf form, Link automatically has a "sense" ability. Using the sense ability, Link can track down certain characters by following their scents with his enhanced senses. As a wolf, he is also able to find and dig holes to find new passages and uncover buried items such as hearts, Rupees, and treasure chests. The sense ability is also the only way Link is able to hunt for Poes — he can neither see them (except for their lanterns) nor attack them without the ability. In addition, Link can also talk to animals in wolf form, aiding him in gathering useful information.

Also, in a first for a 3D Zelda game, Link is not given a magic meter. The Magic Armor drains his Rupees rather than magic, and magic arrows are not available.

Set a few decades after the events of Ocarina of Time, the game begins with Link living and working as a ranch hand in Ordon Village. When monsters suddenly attack the village and kidnap the village children and his close friend Ilia, Link pursues the attackers and a monster pulls him through a strange black wall which transforms him into a large wolf ("blue eyed beast"), seemingly by the power of the Triforce of Courage. The monster drags him off and he wakes, imprisoned, in Hyrule Castle. An imp-like creature named Midna appears and releases him. She guides him to another of the castle's prisoners: Princess Zelda...

Anyway, I don't want to give away the whole story, so let's talk about the music now, shall we?

For this game, the composers decided on using Final Fantasy composer Nobuo Uematsu's well-known style of creating a main theme (i.e., the overworld theme), then using it continuously throughout the game in the ways of "Theme and Variations." Indeed, excerpts of the Twilight Princess' main theme can be heard in several parts during the game, such as in the Fishing Hole, Gerudo Desert, Snowpeak and during boss battles (when the boss is disabled and vulnerable). The theme can also be heard during the game's ending credits.

Anyway, that's all I'll say for now. ( remember, you can read the full thing on the Wikipedia page:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Legend_of_Zelda:_Twilight_Princess.

This is a game trailer I found on http://www.youtube.com/.

Super Smash Bros. Brawl

Hi! Im here to continue my previous post on Super Smash bros. Brawl. The game will feature new and old characters, Like:

Old: Mario, Link, Kirby, Pikachu, Fox, Samus, Zelda, Bowser, Donkey Kong, and Yoshi.

New: Pit, Wario, Zero suit Samus, and Ike. (fire emblem)

It will also have some new items, like:

Gooey Bomb: The gooey Bomb is a Bomb that sticks to most things. It's an explosive encased in a gummy goo. It's a little different from a Motion Sensing Bomb in the sense that it can attach itself not only to the terrain, but also to opponents. When you hit someone with it, it sticks to them, then explodes. However, it's possible to get a Gooey Bomb that's stuck to you to stick to someone else.Touching someone as you pass by may very well cause it to migrate when you least expect it!

Cracker launcher: This is a shooting item. After you grab this item, it'll rapidly release blast after blast of firecrackers that explode gaudily. You can walk around and jump while holding the launcher.
You can also aim the launcher at different angles by tilting the Control Stick up or down.

Crates and Barrels:When broken, many items tumble out of crates and barrels.Previously, wooden crates and barrels were pretty much your common or garden variety.
This time around, these items change visually to match the mood of the stage.
On sci-fi type stages they take on a futuristic tone.
By the way, this time They've thrown "sliding boxes" into the mix.

Banana peels: You can pick up Banana peels and easily set them as a trap. If anyone goes over them, they'll slip.

Bumper: It’s the Bumper from the Nintendo 64 version of Super Smash Bros.!Back again after a whole nine years... Well, I’ll be.Now you can set them in mid-air as well. This might lend itself to a few new and interesting strategies.

Pitifall: This item appeared in animal crossing. When you throw it in the ground, it vanishes. If anyone goes over it, they'll get temporarily stuck in the ground. If you throw a pitifall at someone, they'll just fall through fall-through floors.

Now I'll tell the new stages and what game they're from:

Battlefield: Super Smash Bros. Brawl.

Delfino plaza: Super Mario Sunshine.

Yoshi's island: Yoshi's island.

Bridge of Eldin: Legend of Zelda: Twilight princess.

Smashville: Animal crossing.

Rumble falls: Donkey Kong : Jungle beat.

Skyworld: Kid icarus.

Metroid Prime 3-Updated again.

Hello again! I've found out what the story of Metroid Prime 3 is. Enjoy:

Six months have passed since the events on the planet Aether. The Galactic Federation’s network computers, Aurora Units, are suddenly and completely corrupted with something like a virus, and only quick action saves the entire network from going down. The Federation believes Space Pirates may be behind the problem and, beginning with Samus, starts to contact bounty hunters. As it explains the situation to the assembled hunters, the Federation is attacked by the pirates. Samus and the other hunters leap to the defense of the Federation capital, only to find that the enemy the hunters face is the presumed-dead Dark Samus. Dark Samus defeats Samus and the other bounty hunters, corrupting them with Phazon in the process. They are all subsequently outfitted by the Galactic Federation with Phazon Enhancement Devices (PEDs) that can harness their corruption to enhance their powers. After learning to use this enhancement, called Hypermode, Samus sets off after Dark Samus, who has begun to seed other planets with Phazon by launching enormous Phazon seeds called Leviathans into them. As the Phazon begins to slowly corrupt Samus, the final saga in the Metroid Prime trilogy begins.

Metroid Prime 3: Corruption will be the first game in the Metroid series in which the game's characters will utilize full voice acting (as seen used in the federation ship video in which the GF fleet commander tells Samus to head to the planet's surface, as well as when a federation trooper talks to Samus on the planet), although previous games in the series used limited voice acting to varying degrees. It is currently unspecified whether or not Samus will speak in Metroid Prime 3 (Jennifer Hale voiced grunts and cries for Samus in Prime 1 & 2).

This is the link (again) that will take you to the wikipedia page about this post

Metroid Prime 3 *updated*

Hello again! I'm here to follow-up on my previous Metroid Prime 3 post.

I think you would move Samus with the Nunchuck's control stick. Aim the arm cannon with the Wii-remote. Control samus's non-weapon hand by moving the Nunchuck.

Secondly, The graphics look Pwnaging! Waaaaay more impressive than the previous games!

I'm not quite sure yet of what the story is, but I'll try to find out.

Here is the link to a wikipedia page about this game:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Metroid_Prime_3

Mario Party 8

1. Background - Mario Party is a series of games developed by Nintendo. It has been going on since the first Mario Party was released in 1999, Japan only.

2. Gameplay In Mario party, the objective is to collect as many Stars as possible. This possible by going around a giant game board and looking for them. Also, in the mario party series you must collect coins to buy the stars. The Stars usually cost 20 coins. you can collect coins by landing on certain spaces on the board. here are all the spaces and what they do.

Originals

Blue space - +3 coins

Red space - 3 coins

? space - Triggers a random event

Bowser space - causes bowser to fall from the sky. Will do something evil.

NEW SPACES

Koopa kid space - causes one of bowser's minions to do something evil

DK space - DK will fall from the sky and do something helpful.

Microphone space - Will trigger a Minigame that has to do with the Gamecube Microphone.

MP8 NEW SPACES

Challenge space - will cause a challenge minigame to take place

Special space - Will trigger a special event. (usually meaning a free star.)

Players will take turns moving around the board. After all players move, a minigame takes place. Minigames are fun-to play games where the winner will get 10 coins. You can set the game to have everyone take between 15 or 50 turns.

3.-story

I have to admit that the story of this game is pretty pathetic. There is a competition at a carnival, where the players are competing on boards to get stars. The winner of the Board-game tournament gets a 1-year supply of candy.

4.-Graphics

The overall graphics of the game are good, despite one thing: The fonts. The fonts look seriously from the 1900's.

Overall, This game was impressive.

Sonic Heroes

Sonic Heroes is a game for the Nintendo GameCube that features many new and old characters from the Sonic series. When playing, there are four teams you can choose from. instead of controlling single players like in other Sonic games, you'll control a team of three Sonic characters. The teams are: Team Sonic (Sonic,Tails,Knuckles) team Rose(Amy,Cream, Big) team Dark (Shadow,Rogue, Omega) and team Chaotix(Espio, Vector, and Charmie)

Each of the three characters on each team have their own role to play for the team. The three Roles are:

SPEED: Quick and agile, these characters can get around quickly, But lack power. The Speed characters are: Sonic, Espio, Amy, and Shadow.

POWER: These characters may be slow, but their attacks pack a lot of punch. The Power characters are:Knuckles, Vector, Omega, and Big.

FLY: The fly characters are weak, but they can fly. When you enter fly mode, the other two team characters will grab onto your legs, and you can fly around by jumping in Mid-Jump. This will allow you to travel long distances, over absolutely nothing. The Fly characters are:Tails, Cream, Rogue, and Charmie.

Though this game my seem interesting, think again. Like it's predecessors, the main challenge to this game is just: How long can you push the control stick forward?

also, the storyline is HORRIBLE. the story roughly goes like this: Dr. Eggman created an army of Robots and is trying to destroy the Earth, and now all the teams want to defeat Eggman and his army for their own (stupid) reasons. In the meantime, everyone has to collect the seven Chaos Emeralds for some reason. Anyway, after they finally find Eggman, His best Robot, Metal Sonic attacks you. Then he transorms into some giant stupid, unrealistic metal monster that can fly. Of course, Team Sonic has to save the day by jumping in and using the power of the Chaos emeralds to get weird powers, and to float up into the sky to fight Metal Sonic.(Typical Sonic. Metal Sonic literally does go NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! when it gets defeated.)

anyway, this is one of THE WORST video games I've ever played.

Mission Mars

Metroid Prime 3

Mtroid Prime 3: Corruption is a Wii game made by Retro Studios. It is currently set for release on August 20, 2007 in the United States. It has been stated in a Nintendo Power interview with Retro Studios that Metroid Prime 3: Corruption may in fact have multiplayer, but "not in the same context as Echoes." The game's delay seems to support this information and has opened up the frequently mentioned possibility for online play.
This game's focus is to maintain non-linearity and the other staples of the Metroid series. According to the game's developers, the more intuitive control will cause Corruption to be less difficult than Metroid Prime 2: Echoes, faster paced, and scanning will become easier to perform. Read more about it at:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Metroid_Prime_3
